Three Two-legged Chihuahuas
For those of you who saw the discussion several months ago about Faith the Two-legged Wonder Dog, it might interest you to know that there are three baby chihuahuas here in New York all learning to hop around like Faith on their two back legs. You can read more about them and the horrors of "backyard breading" here. Their names are Carmen, Venus, and Pablo, and they will presumably all be up for adoption in the near future.

How did you find this? Are the owners of these chihuahuas out to "myth-bust" the notion that Faith the Two-Legged Dog is blessed by God? Are they out to prove that any ole dog can learn to walk on two legs?h
My friend emailed me about these little dogs a few weeks ago. I immediatly replied with Faith. She immediatly replied with Skeeter, http://youtube.com/watch?v=LbmbQkX7czo
Wow, Skeeter is disturbing. Poor little dog. I also watched some of the other doggie-narcolepsy videos and one about fainting goats and then a dogs vs. cats video set to dueling banjos. Youtube is something else.
the very furthest reaches of my brain are telling me that there are a few breeds of dogs for which narcolepsy is relatively common and somewhere, someone protested and banned specifically bred strains of narcoleptic dogs used to study the disease, and so the mystery endures.
I like that Venus has little nefarious armlets to wave around in exasperation when her plot for world domination fails.
Skeeter was hilarious and not disturbing at all to me until I heard the *pop* of his chin hitting the ground and snapping his mouth shut, then I felt bad about wanting a narcoleptic dog for the first half of the video.
